1. How can I buy a motorway vignette?

You can purchase a motorway vignette from us online by entering vehicle details, country of registration, the required vignette validity period and billing information.

2. What types of motorway vignettes are available?

1-day, 10-day, 30-day and 365-day motorway vignettes are available for the territory of the Slovak Republic.

3. When does the motorway vignette become valid?

Validity begins on the day you choose as the start of validity when placing your order.

4. Is the motorway vignette issued in paper form?

No. In the Slovak Republic, the motorway vignette exists exclusively in electronic form and is registered to the vehicle by its registration number.

5. Can I check the validity of a motorway vignette?

Yes. You can verify the validity of your motorway vignette using the payment verification function.

6. When am I required to pay for a motorway vignette?

You are required to pay for a motorway vignette in advance before entering a tolled section.

7. When am I allowed to enter a tolled section?

You may enter a tolled section only after receiving confirmation of the provision of the motorway vignette at the email address you provided.

8. Which vehicles are subject to motorway vignette payment?

The payment obligation applies in particular to two-track motor vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and two-track vehicle combinations.

9. Which vehicles are exempt from motorway vignette payment?

Exemptions apply, for example, to vehicles of emergency services, armed forces, holders of parking permits and other entities designated by the relevant act.

10. Is it necessary to register a vehicle exempt from payment?

Yes. Selected exempt vehicles must be registered in the system of the administrator of fee collection when entering a tolled section.
